What we collect, why we collect it, and who else ever sees it. The short answer is: only what we need to book you in and look after you properly, and we don’t sell any of it.

Effective September 1, 2026

1.Who is responsible

A Little Bit Country Massage, 12 N. Johnson St, Suite A, Alamo, Tennessee 38001. For anything to do with your information, call (731) 227-9350 or email [email protected].

2.What we collect

When you book

  • Your name, mobile number and email address
  • The service, date and time you booked
  • Payment confirmation — the amount, the date and the last four digits of the card

When you come in

  • Health information you choose to tell us: injuries, conditions, medications, pregnancy, allergies, areas to avoid
  • Notes on what was worked on, so the next session can pick up where the last one left off

When you use this website

  • Standard technical information: browser type, device type, approximate location by region, and which pages you visited
  • Anything you type into a form on the site, including the referral page

We never see or store your full card number. Card details go straight to our payment processor, which handles them under its own security standards.

3.Why we collect it

  • To book, confirm, remind you about and take payment for appointments
  • To treat you safely, which is the reason for the health questions
  • To run memberships, gift certificates and referral credit
  • To reply when you call, text or email
  • To send occasional offers and news, if you have agreed to that
  • To keep the records a business is required to keep

We do not sell your information, rent it, or hand it to anyone for their own marketing. Ever.

4.Text messages and email

Appointment confirmations, reminders and changes are transactional — you get those because you have an appointment, not because you opted into marketing.

Promotional texts and emails only go to people who agreed to receive them. Reply STOP to any text to opt out of marketing messages, or use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email. Opting out of marketing does not stop appointment reminders. Message and data rates may apply.

5.Who else sees your information

Only the services needed to actually run the practice, and only the parts they need:

  • Our booking and customer platform — holds your contact details, appointments and notes
  • Our payment processor — handles card payments, refunds and membership charges
  • Our text and email provider — sends confirmations, reminders and any marketing you agreed to
  • Website analytics — tells us which pages people visit, in aggregate

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to protect someone’s safety.

6.Health information

What you tell us about your health is kept confidential and used only to treat you safely. It is not shared with anyone else without your permission, other than where the law requires it.

We are a massage therapy practice rather than a covered healthcare entity under HIPAA, but your health information is treated as confidential regardless.

7.Cookies

This site uses cookies to keep it working properly and to understand how it is being used — which pages get visited, and roughly where visitors come from. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; parts of the booking process may not work correctly if you do.

8.How long we keep it

Appointment and treatment records are kept for as long as you are a client and for a reasonable period afterward, in line with professional record-keeping practice. Financial records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. Marketing contacts are removed when you opt out.

9.What you can ask for

  • A copy of the information we hold about you
  • Corrections to anything that is wrong
  • Deletion of your information, where we are not required to keep it
  • To stop receiving marketing, at any time

Call or email and it gets done. We may need to confirm who you are first.

10.Children

This website is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. Appointments for a minor are booked by a parent or guardian, who provides the information and stays for the session.

11.Security and changes

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, though no website or system can be guaranteed completely secure. If this policy changes, the updated version appears here with a new effective date.

Questions about any of this? Call (731) 227-9350 or email [email protected].

Any questions, just ask

It’s a small practice. You can talk to the person who holds the records.
