About Jessica
A Little Bit Country Massage is one therapist, one room and one table on Court Square in downtown Alamo. There’s no front desk, no rota of therapists and nobody you haven’t met. Whoever you book with is Jessica, because there’s only Jessica.
How it started
Jessica Heath trained at Serenity Academy of Massage in Henderson and opened A Little Bit Country Massage in the spring of 2026, with a ribbon cutting on Court Square on the first of May.
She’s been part of this corner of West Tennessee for around a decade, which matters more here than it would somewhere larger. The people booking are neighbors, and word travels across a county this size in about a day and a half.
The name isn’t about barns and burlap. It’s about country comfort — the kind of place where somebody asks how you’re doing and then waits for the answer.
That’s the whole idea behind the studio, and it’s deliberately unglamorous. No relaxation music you have to pretend to like, no upselling while you’re face-down, no being handed a clipboard and left in a waiting room. Somewhere quiet, somewhere warm, and an hour where nobody needs anything from you.
The practice is only a few months old, which means the calendar still has room in it and you’re not booking six weeks out. That won’t last forever, and it’s worth taking advantage of while it does.
How Jessica works
Not a philosophy statement — just the three things people keep saying in their reviews, unprompted.
She listens first
What hurts, what you want worked on, how much pressure, what to leave alone. Asked out loud before anything starts, and taken at face value.
Pressure means what you said
Light stays light. Deep goes deep. You shouldn’t have to ask twice, and you shouldn’t have to brace through an hour you paid for.
Nobody is rushed out
Fifteen minutes between appointments so the room gets reset properly and you get a minute to sit up before you go back to your day.
The room itself
One treatment room, on the east side of Court Square. It’s small on purpose — a big space is harder to keep warm and quiet, and neither of those is negotiable.
- Fresh linens on the table for every single client
- Warm enough that you don’t spend the first ten minutes tensed up
- Quiet, with the door shut and the phone left alone
- Free parking right there on the square
- Ground floor, straight in off the street
If you’ve never had a massage and the whole idea makes you uneasy, say so when you book. It’s a very normal thing to say and it changes how the hour is run.
